Details:
Join us for an astronomically awesome night full of telescopes, astronomers, science shows, blow-up planetariums and most of all stars and planets for Astrofest 2012. Held at Curtin Stadium, Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia on March 31st, 2012 Astrofest will show off the wonders of the Western Australian night sky. Previous Astrofests have attracted over 3,000 people to look through almost 50 telescopes of all shapes and sizes, hear talks about our night sky and learn more about the stars with a laser guided sky tour.

With the location of the upcoming world's biggest telescope (cross your fingers for Australia) announced just weeks before, it's sure to be an afternoon and night of interesting astronomy.

Astrofest is a free, family friendly event run by the Astronomy WA collective and coordinated by the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research.  Visit www.astronomywa.net.au for more information, to pre-register to attend and put yourself in the draw to win some great astronomy prizes.
