Melbourne to host NASA International Space Apps Competition

The Victorian Space Science Education Centre, in conjunction with the Australian Space Policy Unit, is hosting an International Space Apps Competition in Melbourne with satellite events in Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide on the 21st and 22nd of April 2012.
 
The International Space Apps Competition brings together people from every continent, including Antarctica and the international space station, to create open solutions with space data. The aim of the International Space Apps Competition is to showcase the impact that scientists and citizens working together around the world can have on addressing challenges, both on earth and in space, by using open government data.
