NASA @ Home and City
Did you know that advances in space technology can improve everyday objects like light bulbs, paint, shoes, toothpaste, and even guitars? Be amazed by how research and development in space technology can make a difference to your home and city!
Google Maps
Explore the world around you with Google Maps! Open it up and click on "Satellite" to see what the world looks like from the orbit of a satellite. For some fun activities, try finding your school, see if you can recognise places in your city, or find landmarks in other countries and see what they look like from above. For an extra challenge, try to find all these places without using the "search" function - navigate by scrolling and zooming on the map!
Extreme Planet Makeover
Have you ever wanted to change the world - literally? NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory brings you the "Extreme Planet Makeover". Make your own planet by changing its age, size, the type of star it orbits, or how far away it is from its star. Learn about what difference each variable has to a planet while designing one of your own.
ESA Kids
Have fun with lots of activities from the European Space Agency! In the 'Lab' you'll find instructions to build your own satellite models, activities to track satellites above us and the pictures they take, and lots of information about space-related topics. In the 'Fun' section you'll find puzzles, quizzes, colouring activities, competitions, downloads and more!
NASA Kids' Club
There are heaps of things to do at the NASA Kids' Club. There are games for kids of all ages, find out how much you'd weigh or how old you'd be on another planet, and discover all the other activities to do! You can also see pictures and videos from
Elmo's visit to NASA.
Build your own space adventure
Have you ever wanted to build your own satellite or rover? In this interactive activity from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, you can design your own space mission! Putting different instruments on your spacecraft will mean you'll get different sorts of data. When you're done with your mission you can share it with your friends, or design a new one and explore something else!
