The next STEM generation will gain plenty of space inspiration this August.
As part of this year's National Science Week — the country’s annual celebration of science and technology — the Australian Space Agency along with its partners have organised four special events.
The theme for this year's Science Week is 'Decoding the Universe' and it will be held from the 9th to 17th of August.

Pocket Solar System
This hands-on activity will be delivered by the Australian Space Discovery Centre. It is designed to expand children's understanding of the Solar System, bringing in the dimension of distances between planets.

Mission: SPACE
Scitech and the Australian Space Agency invite primary schools across the country to get inspired by several space specialists, including Australian astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg and retired NASA astronaut Dorothy Metcalf-Lindenburger.
11-14 August

Our Invisible Universe
During this interactive session, you'll hear from Australian experts in space, dark matter and quantum research as they showcase a range of hands-on demonstrations and activities. This in-person event will be held at the Australian Space Discovery Centre.

In collaboration with Camp Australia, join us for an exclusive online event with Australian astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg.
