To mark National Science Week 2025, these downloadable resources were created by the Australian Space Agency and delivered by the Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation (SCHF). They are designed to keep young minds engaged and inspired even during hospital visits.
The attached resources explore the ways that space technology helps make our lives easier and safer and include:
- A student worksheet for ages 1-6 that encourages hands-on exploration and creativity.
- A teacher's guide designed to support educators, filled with inspiration for the activities.
- And a 6-sided dice for anyone to roll and figure out what your day will look like!
This inspiring partnership between the Agency and SCHF aim to support students’ learning during their hospital stay.
To celebrate science, innovation, and discovery, this collaboration will share these resources with educators across the Hospital Schools in Australia.
