Australia is a State Party to the Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space.
In line with our obligations under this Convention, we publish a register of objects launched into outer space, as authorised under the:

- Updates to the register of space objects table are usually made bi-monthly (every second month). Once an updated version is published, any subsequent Australian objects that enter space will be captured in subsequent version. The most up-to-date version is attached, above.
- Objects are listed once sufficient details have been provided to us by the permit holder.
- We publish information provided to us by the permit holder.
- We provide details of Australian space objects to the United Nations Secretary-General for inclusion on the United Nations Register.
