The Binar-1 mission spent almost a year in space and was completed in 2022.
It was launched to the International Space Station on 29 August 2021 and was then deployed into orbit on 6 October 2021 from the station's Japanese Kibō module.
The Australian Space Agency granted authorisation for this space activity on 29 April 2021.
