What would it look like to live off-Earth?
This classroom task is designed for Year 7 to Year 10 Science or Design and Technologies classes.
Learning outcomes
In this activity, students will:
- Identify what humans need to live and thrive and identify the difficulties of living on the Moon or Mars.
- Use a design process construct a model of a Lunar or Martian habitat that would solve one of the problems that makes it difficult to live in space.
- Evaluate and improve their modelled solution.
